We are a company based in Scotland offering a distinctive and flexible new range
of solid timber log buildings from Scandinavia and the Baltic states. We can
supply anything from large garden offices to four bedroom single storey lodges.
The simple construction methods used to erect these buildings have been perfected
over the centuries and enable us to offer a rapid and cost effective alternative
to other construction methods.
We have recently opened a show site just off the Edinburgh by pass near Dalkeith,
where we have erected three of our building styles – one traditional lodge
type building and two more contemporary buildings. They are great examples of
just what we can offer to those seeking extra space in which to work, rest or
play. We have many standard designs available, but can also offer a bespoke service
whereby clients can design their own buildings to suit their purposes.
The slow grown pine used in our buildings combines structural strength and durability
enabling us to offer a quality and long lasting product. The thermal insulation
properties of slow grown timber make this means of construction so well fitted
to the range of uses we can offer. Extremely efficient in terms of heat retention,
our pine buildings are cool in summer yet warm in Winter making them suitable
for year round usage for work or accommodation.
We believe that interest in and demand for solid log buildings will grow as planners
begin to recognise their merit in terms of meeting the criteria for sustainable
development and the need for more environmentally friendly methods of construction.
Against a backdrop of rising concern over climate change and Co2 emissions, our
buildings offer a credible environmentally friendly alternative to more traditional
methods of construction.
We are able to offer advice on design and planning of any projects you might
